Over the course of this school year, my work improved monumentally. My articles became much better, as they are now more engaging and easier to follow. At the beginning of the year, the organization of my articles was very random, and nothing flowed properly. Now, I know how to tell a story in a clear, concise, and interesting way. My picture taking technique also improved greatly as I learned how to frame a shot in a way that makes the subject look interesting and clear. I had a lot of problems with pictures at the beginning of the year, especially with things like lighting and focus. By the 4th 9 weeks, I have taken many photos that look professional and worthy of printing. Also, and my layouts are much more aesthetically pleasing. I was previously stuck in the same boring two articles with pictures per page, but now now how to position things in an artistic way tha would catch the reader's eye, like I did with the bathroom layout. Overall, I am very happy with the progression of my work, and look forward to being able to continue to improve over the next years.
