About Me
Hello! My name is Jenna Nardo, but most people call me Jax. I am a junior at Franklin Regional High School. This is my second year working on Franklin Regional High School's Panther Newspaper, and this year I am the paper's Editor-in-Chief. I have always loved writing, but I was usually more involved with writing short stories and poems. When scheduling for my freshman year of high school, I decided to try the Intro to Journalism class. I really enjoyed it, so I began to write for the paper.
I live in Murrysville, PA, with my parents and little sister. My hobbies include reading, writing, and listening to music. I enjoy school, especially my English classes, and take great pride in my academic success. I take part in many extracurricular activities in addition to my work on the paper, including Mock Trial and the Pittsburgh Junior Academy of Sciences. Also, I have been elected vice-president of the Equality Club for the 2016-2017 school year. I will be spending my senior year of high school in France as a part of the Rotary Youth Exchange program. After high school, I intend to major in communications and pursue a career in journalism. Thank you for visiting my portfolio and taking interest in my work.
